Muddy was finally on the road again. As Muddy continued to move forward, he found himself at the edge of a long pier. He had never seen anything like it. He had seen a few swimming pools in the past, but this was so much water.
There was water out as far as he could see! As he looked out on the water, he soon became distracted. The strong smell was just too much. He didn’t think twice, and headed out onto the pier. He found it, the smell was coming from a small metal hole. He looked in, and did not see anyone in the room, so he jumped in.
That was it, he had found it, a roasted chicken. Yum Yum. He took his time eating, enjoying every bite. It had been a few nights in a row, with cold food scraps, so this was great. After he finished, he tried to jump back out of the hole, and ran into two problems. First, that chicken, was now in his belly, and he couldn’t fit back through the hole any longer. And Second, he couldn’t see land anymore.
Yikes.
Right then the door flew open, and in came Andy. Andy was the captain of the ship, and Muddy’s new best friend. Andy started laughing when he realized what had happened. Over the next few days, they traveled all over the open seas.
When they finally hit land, Muddy was ready for a cocktail. When he noticed the dragon fruit cocktail on the menu, and he just couldn’t resist. He had always been intrigued by the exotic fruit, and the idea of its unique flavor, mixed into a cocktail sounded delightful.
